GF and AFC are different pump families. The choice depends on the material reaching the pump, the required flow and head, the installation and the control arrangement.

HCP identifies a stainless-steel radial cutter and cutter ring on the GF page. The AFC page describes a tungsten-carbide-edged cutting impeller. They are not interchangeable labels.
